Thanks to its experience in mass production, I.M.A. derived its capability of designing, building and changing the part locking equipment; therefore, it equipped a traditional machine division assigned to the development of this activity. The internal manufacturing of the equipment increased business by shortening the industrialisation chain of the new products and reducing the time of introduction of customer changes to the project. The same is also valid for the testing equipment on board the machine of control templates or jigs for air / water tightness tests on mechanical parts. The satisfaction obtained from the result of this activity induced us to continue on external lines by building different types of equipment according to specific customer requirements.
